RRelatos HHumanos
Description
Relatos Humanos is a book of stories whose action has as its central axis the Human Resources Department of a technology company that has been forced to implement restructuring processes, where the atmosphere is tense and situations that can occur in any real company are experienced: unexpected early retirements, layoffs, promotions, rumors and bad professional environment, management changes, plugging… and all employees see HR as executors of a “perverse plan” that only look out for the business. All this is told from the point of view of Irene Díaz de Otazu, its Human Resources Director, who narrates how she experiences these situations, how she manages them, how she feels the impact they have on employees, colleagues and even friends, and what emotions they leave in the different characters. Each story deals with an aspect of Human Resources management within a company (selection, training, development, separation, relationship with unions), focusing on the vital aspects for understanding life within organizations: emotions, passions and relationships between the characters.
