La llamada del océano: La gran aventura de unir nadando los 5 continentes
Description
We live on a planet where more than 70% of the surface is covered by water. Every day, we hear news about plastic pollution, loss of biodiversity, and rising sea levels due to global warming. Yet the sea remains largely forgotten—to the point that we call this planet Earth when it should really be called Water. Ignacio Dean had already walked around the world, but he still owed a debt to the oceans. After more than a year of training and swimming 2,500 kilometers, he launched the Nemo Expedition—a challenge that led him to swim between all five continents to send a message about ocean conservation.
In this new book, Nacho Dean returns to the epic and adventurous style he developed in his previous work to share the lessons he learned after becoming the first Spaniard to swim across all five continents. He also delves into themes such as leadership, personal growth, resilience, and team management.

Nacho Dean is a renowned adventurer. He is the first and only person in history to have both walked around the world and swum between all five continents (fewer people have been to the Moon):
From 2013 to 2016, he completed a world walk expedition called EarthWideWalk, during which he spent 3 years walking across 4 continents, 31 countries, and 33,000 kilometers—alone and unassisted—in defense of the environment.
Between 2018 and 2019, he completed the Nemo Expedition, a challenge in which he swam between the 5 continents to raise awareness for ocean conservation.
Author of two books, Libre y Salvaje and La llamada del océano, published by Planeta, he has delivered over 150 international talks and has been featured in countless interviews and media reports.
