Inteligencia Artificial. Guia definitiva desde los orígenes a la IA generativa
Description
This book is a didactic work that addresses the key aspects involved in developing artificial intelligence solutions, either as support for the personal learning of those interested in the field or as a study guide for AI training courses.
The text is organized into several chapters that, as the title suggests, cover all relevant topics—from the origins of AI to the most recent techniques, including the widely known generative AI that powers systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot. These topics are complemented by discussions on governance, implementation, and innovation, drawn directly from industry practice and the authors’ extensive experience.
This is an up-to-date work that aims to become a reference for learning in both the professional and academic fields of artificial intelligence in Spanish.

Miguel González-Fierro is a technology executive, science communicator, and entrepreneur specializing in the application of artificial intelligence to business. He has worked across different teams at Microsoft as a Principal Data Science Manager, contributing to both technological business development and the creation of artificial intelligence products.
He has been an investor and founder of several companies, including Samsamia Technologies, which developed one of the first visual recommendation engines for fashion items, enabling users to search for products using images instead of words, and ASROB, which developed projects related to robotics and 3D printing.
Miguel has also worked as a robotics researcher at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and King’s College London (KCL), and has collaborated with other institutions such as Imperial College London and IE University in Madrid. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from UC3M, a PhD in Robotics from UC3M in collaboration with KCL— for which he received the award for Best Doctoral Thesis— and is a graduate of MIT Sloan School of Management.
