Manuel Monterrubio is an associate professor at IE University, as well as an entrepreneur, board member, senior advisor to companies and institutions, and startup mentor. With over 30 years of experience as a CEO in various companies, this IT engineer has developed businesses and managed successful mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his professional career, he has founded, grown, and successfully sold two tech startups: one in 2007 and another in 2023. He is currently validating a new project focused on artificial intelligence applied to voice, called InteliVOZ. Manuel is an expert in digital transformation from MIT and has published numerous articles in specialized IT sector journals. He is also co-author of the book “How to Innovate from the Board” and the recent 2024 publication “How to Transform from the Board”.He has taught technology for executives in the MBA program at Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio and currently teaches a startup bootcamp at IE University, aimed at students in the Dual Degree in Business Administration & Data and Business Analytics.
