Le prix à payer: Ce que le couple hétéro coûte aux femmes
Description
Le Prix a Payer, written by Lucile Quillet, is an eye-opening story that exposes some gender equality issues so deeply rooted in our society that usually go unnoticed. In this thought-provoking book, the author gives voice to all those women who suffer in silence the unfairness of a system that is imposed to them as soon as a heteronormative environment is established, in order to recognize their efforts, sacrifice and power.
Lucile Quillet is a journalist with a degree from Sciences Po Paris, specialized in the social and psycological aspects of couples and families. She began to study women’s work from an “empowerment” perspective to counterbalance the gender bias that maintains the syndrome of the good student, the impostor and self-censorship, providing practical advice.
She was in charge of the career section for Madame Figaro, created the column Madame Network and wrote Libre de prendre le pouvoir sur ma carrière, guide de coaching à destination des femmes qui veulent se réaliser au travail, published by Diateino.
Nowadays, she independently works for ELLE magazine and she is an expert for the Welcome to the Jungle Lab, for which she writes the BADASS column. Since 2022, she is also a certified coach and spreads this feminist approach on Instagram.
